As the Founder & CEO of Quartz Water Source, JQ was proud to learn that, in 2023, Quartz was selected as 1 of 300 high impact companies by Real Leaders. Additionally, Quartz was ranked in the category of Construction, Energy & Facilities.

Quartz was born out of the Flint Water Crisis, as the event decimated the city’s health, economy, and morale. As a Flint native, JQ couldn’t sit on the sidelines so he founded Quartz Water Source. “Quartz will always stand for transforming crisis into opportunity and be a testament to what it means to make dollars while making change,” said Founder & CEO of Quartz, Jonathan “JQ” Quarles.
